Course description

Stress and Time Management 2 is a one-day intensive course from TTA, which builds upon Stress and Time Management 1. The course focuses on the needs of intrinsically stressful jobs, such as customer service department staff. You will improve your skills for dealing with difficult people in an assertive yet polite way. You will be introduced to communicative conflict prevention techniques and will create individual solutions to decrease pressure in your daily work.
You will also acquire the skill to set motivating goals with the inspiring long-term vision to accomplish them. You will improve your individual time management by identifying potential time savers and learning helpful techniques and how to use them.
Please note, completing the assigned pre-course tasks is of the utmost importance for those of you who have not attended STM1 yet still wish to get the most out of the course (min. 2 weeks preparation period for your time log is required to produce tangible results). Worksheets with guidelines are available upon request at TTA.

Course objectives

  • to further develop skills to prevent, to reduce and to cope with stress at work
  • to provide insight into communicative conflict management and dealing with difficult people
  • to improve skills for efficient time planning with long-term vision

  • ability to react assertivelyand cope with unrealistic requests
  • preventing or mildening of conflicts through conscious tension regulation in communication
  • ability to set motivating long-term goals and short-term objectives
  • self-motivating strategies to prevent procrastination in order to increase performance

  • individual stress prevention strategies based on an analysis of stress logs
  • introducing techniques for dealing with unrealistic requests
  • practicing reacting assertively yet politely
  • taking the pressure out of a conflict through various communication channels
  • 5th generation time management
  • tasks prioritization and useful strategies for “creating“ time at work
  • introducing coaching tools in time management
  • goal mapping, creating a vision and identification of individual self-motivating factors
